Kapanlagi.com - Melly Goeslaw is reluctant to disclose in detail the amount of money she spent on gastric bypass or bariatric surgery on June 15, 2022. She only said that the amount of money she had to spend was fantastic.
"As for how much, I can't say, it's not ethical. But it's a fantastic amount of money," said Melly Goeslaw at her residence in the Bintaro area, South Jakarta, on Saturday (24/6/2023).

Melly said that compared to the cost of her previous diet program since 2003, the money she spent on bariatric surgery is relatively cheap.
"Compared to a diet doctor, it's much cheaper. I've been going to diet doctors since 2003, going from one doctor to another. If you combine the costs, you could buy one or two houses," she said.
"But with this one procedure, I don't have to do anything else and most importantly, I don't have to take medication anymore. No more diet injections," she continued.
Although she had to spend a fantastic amount of money for bariatric surgery, Melly said it was worth it for the benefits she experienced.
"Maybe the price is not cheap, but it's once in a lifetime. Alhamdulillah, up until now, I have lost 35 kilograms in one year, and my blood sugar is also normal, previously it was 250, now it's 99-100, around that range. And I no longer have knee pain because previously my knees were in pain, maybe even cracked, because of going up and down the stairs since my room is on the second floor carrying a weight of 87 to 110 (kg). Now, Alhamdulillah, I am healed. So, this is the right step, Alhamdulillah, I can be healthier and have better activities," she said.
