Michelle Joan Reveals the Chronology of Her Mother's Death, Three Years Ago Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

Kapanlagi.com - Sadness is currently enveloping the heart of actress Michelle Joan. Her mother, Devi Damayanti, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at around 00:15 WIB in Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta, at the age of 53 due to the cancer she had been suffering from.

According to the woman born on May 28, 1993, her late mother had been diagnosed with cancer three years ago. Even, the deceased had undergone breast removal surgery.

"Three years ago, the first detection, the doctor said it was not malignant, it was checked again and it was not malignant, but there was a lump next to it that was not malignant, but the last one pressed on the spine and couldn't move much," said Michelle Joan at Tanah Kusir Cemetery, South Jakarta, on Sunday (18/6/2023).

"Last year, she lifted one side, the following year she lifted the other side, at the end of last year, she complained of back pain, maybe there was a lump, so she was finally lifted from the waist down, slow recovery, because she couldn't do anything, weak too, constantly in pain," Michelle Joan added.

1. Declining Condition

Liora's actress in the soap opera Ganteng Ganteng Serigala said that her mother's condition had declined about seven days ago. Finally, three days ago, she was immediately taken to the hospital.

"Last week she dropped, because it was difficult to eat, low blood pressure, and also shortness of breath, so it seems like it's her time," said Michelle Joan.

2. Great Loss

As a child, Michelle Joan admitted that she was greatly lost her beloved mother. But, she believes that her late mother's departure was indeed fate from God.

"Honestly, it's sad, no one wants to lose their parents, it's also sad to see my mom sick. I just surrender to God, that's why I believe that God's plan is to give the best for all of us," said Michelle Joan.

"I'm sure, God loves my mom, so she was taken now, already calm, not sick anymore, already peaceful, already in heaven," concluded Michelle Joan.
