Missing Singing and the Entertainment World, Mayangsari: I Know Myself Better

"There is a desire to make a single, it's just that I'm looking for the right timing, and it's for sure that I will be assisted by friends who are close to me. Luckily, I have many relationships with business friends, and there are also many fellow singers who create songs," said Mayangsari when met in the Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta, on Monday (27/1).

1. Know Yourself

Nevertheless, Mayangsari herself admits that she knows better how to position herself. According to her, she is unlikely to return to the entertainment world and restart her career.

"Oh, I know myself better now, even if people say I'm still young, it's a big lie, so let's just talk about priorities," said Mayangsari.

Furthermore, Mayangsari acknowledges that her current priorities are different from when she was young.

"What are her priorities now, like her family, my child has grown up, it feels like I have a lot of time to breathe," she continued.

2. Missing the Stage

Since marrying the son of President Soeharto, Bambang Trihatmodjo, Mayangsari firmly decided to quit the entertainment world. Now, after almost 10 years of hiatus, Mayangsari admits that she misses the stage that made her grow.

"I miss my world there. I come from there, but now I'm going through a phase of stepping back from that world, not without awareness. It's also my decision, which means if I want to go back, it's also my own awareness. So, wait for me to realize it," Mayangsari said with a laugh.
