Kapanlagi.com - Vadel Badjideh has officially been named a suspect in the case of alleged sexual abuse and forced abortion. This decision was made after the South Jakarta Metro Police gathered various pieces of evidence and witness statements.
AKP Citra Ayu Civilia, Head of the PPA Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, explained that this case began from a report by Nikita Mirzani, who complained about Vadel's actions towards her child, LM.
"The reporter, named NM, explained that the victim's child, LM, was in a relationship with the suspect VAB and during that relationship, due to the suspect's seduction, which promised to take responsibility and marry the victim's child, LM was willing to engage in sexual relations like husband and wife with the suspect, VAB," said AKP Citra Ayu Civilia at the South Jakarta Police, Friday (14/2/2025).
This incident occurred in January 2024. According to reports, LM, who at that time was in a relationship with Vadel, allegedly experienced sexual abuse due to seduction to marry.
After having the relationship, LM was reported to be pregnant. However, Vadel did not want the pregnancy to be known by his family and allegedly forced LM to terminate the pregnancy.
"As a result of that relationship, the victim LM is suspected to have become pregnant and was forced by the suspect VAB to terminate her pregnancy. Because VAB's actions wanted to remain unknown to his family," explained Citra.
In the investigation conducted, the police found a number of pieces of evidence that strengthen the suspicion of this crime. The evidence includes the results of a medical examination, witness statements, and communication recordings found on the victim's and witness's phones.
"The modus operandi is a relationship of power and deception. Then, the evidence we have secured includes the results of the medical examination, witness statements, expert witness statements, and the mobile phone belonging to the witness," said Citra.
