Mpok Alpa's husband, Ajie Darmaji, explained the meaning of his children's names. According to him, Raffi means to elevate, while Raffa means goodness.

Interestingly, the name Raffi Ahmad was also chosen as a form of respect for Raffi Ahmad, who helped finance the delivery process.
