"Yes, we need to have confidence if we want to do something. Actually, I am confident, yes confident. But sometimes there is that feeling of how the location will be or what happens on set, that's what sometimes makes us have to follow the conditions on set," said Sarwendah in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (11/2/2025).
Sarwendah revealed that she prefers films over soap operas. This is because the tight shooting schedule of soap operas can interfere with her time with her children.
"Film. Soap operas take a lot of time. I have kids to take care of. So with films, it's short time, like 5 days, but it's clear for 5 days. Soap operas are every day, and then I might have to move my house to the location," she said. "So it seems like I can't do it like that. If it's a film or a miniseries, I think I can take it, but for soap operas, I can't do it yet," she continued.
"Actually, to be honest, I have a dream of acting in a thriller movie. Because I really love watching thriller films, like sudden murders that involve investigation, I really like things like that," she expressed.
Sarwendah's desire to act in a thriller film is not just a trial. She wants to explore characters that are different from her daily life. "Yes, I actually want to experience things that are not possible. In films, we can portray characters and explore things that we cannot do in real life. So, if you ask me, of course, I want to try other characters," she concluded.
