Vadel Badjideh Becomes a Suspect, Razman: I Have Successfully Defended for 7 Months

Kapanlagi.com - The legal status of Vadel Badjideh has officially changed to a suspect in the case of alleged sexual intercourse with a minor and abortion reported by Nikita Mirzani. This determination was made after a case presentation on Friday (14/2/2025) night at the South Jakarta Metro Police.

Vadel's attorney, Razman Arif Nasution, responded to the latest developments in this case. In his statement, Razman emphasized that he and the legal team remain committed to supporting Vadel even though his status is now that of a suspect.

"I have successfully defended for 7 months, remember, 7 months of legal defense and he is safe," said Razman when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Friday night.

Razman also mentioned differing statements from Lolly, Nikita Mirzani's daughter who is a victim in this case. According to him, this change in testimony poses a challenge that the legal team must face.

1. Answer 53 Questions

"One thing I told Vadel, Vadel if the testimony tomorrow is different from Lolly's testimony, it will be very dangerous for you. Well, Lolly gave a different statement, so what should I do," said Razman.

The determination of Vadel as a suspect was made after intensive questioning with a total of 53 questions posed by the investigators. Razman revealed that the case presentation is an important step in this process.

"I inform you that after brother Vadel Alfajar Badjideh was questioned, approximately 53 questions, and there weren’t many questions. After we delved deeper, we listened to the developments, we looked at the statements including Lolly's statement, possibly from NM, from witnesses, from Vadel, then the case presentation was conducted and that presentation established brother Vadel Alfajar Badjideh as a suspect," he explained.

Razman added that the change in testimony from the victim raises significant questions that will be discussed further in court. For him, this is a process that requires more attention to seek justice.

2. Will Not Back Down

"They are minors, I also know that means he has opened up to something different. The question is whether we can fully accept this or not, why he has changed, we will see in court," he said.

Although Vadel is facing serious legal threats, Razman assures that he will not back down from his duty as a legal defender. He admitted that he wants to understand more deeply the reasons behind Lolly's change of statement.

"I have been very successful in helping him and I will continue to help him. We are not withdrawing. Later Rahmat with the team, why, because we want to know why Lolly is like this," Razman asserted.

This case began from a report made by Nikita Mirzani in September 2024. The report accused Vadel of committing sexual acts against a minor and abortion against his daughter, Lolly. With this suspect designation, the case is sure to enter a new chapter in the courtroom.
