Ashanty admitted that she usually only chats casually with Camelia Malik. But this time, Ashanty spoke heart to heart with the senior figure.

"Masyaallah, amazing Ms. @cameliamalikreal. Usually, we meet in crowded places, greet each other, and talk casually. This time, I got to chat for almost 3.5 hours with her," wrote Ashanty.

Because of the interview, Ashanty claimed that she got to know the singer more closely. "What started as an interview for my dissertation, ended up allowing me to know her better," she continued.
