Fariz RM Meets Conditional Release Requirements, Deolipa Yumara Ready to Submit Application After 'Inkrah' Verdict

There is a breath of fresh air behind the court decision that ensnared senior musician Fariz RM. After being sentenced to 10 months in prison for a narcotics case, his legal team, led by Deolipa Yumara, revealed that his client has a great chance of breathing free air sooner than expected.

According to Deolipa, with a 10-month prison sentence and having served approximately 7 months, Fariz RM has mathematically met the requirements to apply for conditional release.

"This means that based on the calculation of the application for conditional release or leave, it has been fulfilled, 2/3 of the sentence has already been served," said Deolipa Yumara after the hearing at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday (11/10/2025).

Furthermore, Deolipa explained that the next step they will take is to wait for the judge's decision that has permanent legal force or is final.

"Because Fariz RM has accepted this decision with an open heart, it means he will not appeal," he explained when Fariz RM decided to accept the verdict with an open heart and will not file an appeal.

Now, they are just waiting for the decision from the Public Prosecutor (JPU) who still has 7 days to consider whether to appeal or not.

"The second, the prosecutor thinks, there is a 7-day period. Well, after that, if there is nothing, it means it is final," Deolipa added in explanation.

After the official decision is final, the legal team will immediately move to handle all the necessary administrative requirements.

"When it is final, we as legal representatives will submit the earlier requests that can be made for conditional release of Fariz RM," he asserted.

They will submit the request through the prison to obtain various leniencies, such as conditional release or leave before release.

"So we are trying to submit a request for conditional release or leave before release via the prison, that we will submit," he concluded.
