A new chapter in the case of vape abuse containing hard drugs involving Jonathan Frizzy is rolling back in the Tangerang District Court. In the follow-up hearing held on Wednesday (10/9/2025), a shocking confession came from a fellow defendant who bluntly stated that Ijonk had used the banned vape.

This hearing is scheduled for witness examination, where the four defendants, including Jonathan Frizzy, provide testimonies to each other. The most crucial moment occurred when a defendant named Evan revealed that Ijonk not only used the vape but also did so while they were on vacation together in Bangkok, Thailand.
"Once. When Ijonk was on vacation in Bangkok, once (used it together)," said Evan before the panel of judges at the Tangerang District Court on Wednesday (10/9/2025).
Not only that, Evan also believes that the man commonly known as Ijonk should have known about the harmful substances in the vape. This testimony seems to refute the possibility that Ijonk was unaware of what he was consuming."To my knowledge, he should have known," he said.
Evan, who resides in Bangkok, admitted that he was the one who bought and provided the vape because the item is widely available there. He also mentioned that Ijonk's assistant, Erna, also used the same vape when they gathered.
"I bought it from a Thai person and then I gave it because we were hanging out together, so we used it," he said.
Nevertheless, Evan admitted that he himself did not know that etomidate, the substance contained in it, is classified as a hard drug in Indonesia. He only knew the effect that makes users feel 'high'."I only know that the substance is used for anesthesia, the effect is like being high," he said.
This case ensnared Dhena Devanka's ex-husband after the police developed the case from the arrest of three other individuals. Ijonk is now charged with violating Article 435 of Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health and must serve detention at the Class II A Youth Prison in Tangerang.
