Moments of Meisya Siregar Undergoing Surgery for Thickening of the Uterine Wall, Hospitalized Again After 9 Years

In an Instagram post, Meisya Siregar is seen wearing a complete surgical outfit with a head covering. Her child accompanied her as the artist was about to undergo a hysteroscopy operation.

At exactly 5:00 PM, Meisya Siregar prepared to undergo surgery. Bebi Romeo accompanied his wife to the operating room using a wheelchair.

This beautiful artist shared that she had been fasting, showered with disinfectant, and received bowel cleansing medication before the surgery. She revealed that this was her second hospitalization after 9 years since giving birth to her son.

One of the photos shows Meisya Siregar being hugged by her son, Bambang, before entering the operating room. The youngest child of the artist also offered prayers for the smoothness of the surgery process.

This hysteroscopy operation is known to last less than an hour. Meisya Siregar mentioned that the post-operative effects are lighter compared to when giving birth, although it still requires intensive recovery.

Previously, Meisya Siregar revealed that she experienced bleeding outside of her menstrual cycle without accompanying pain. This event has recurred in the last two years, forcing her to undergo intensive examinations.

The examination results showed the presence of endometrial hyperplasia (thickening up to 14 mm), endometrial polyps, and small uterine fibroids. The causes are low progesterone hormone and high estrogen.

After a discussion with the doctor, it was decided to perform a hysteroscopy to remove the polyp and scrape the thickened endometrial lining. Meanwhile, in her confession, the small fibroid was left alone because it was not dangerous.

"The diagnosis is the same: Endometrial Hyperplasia (thickening of the uterine wall up to 14) and Polypoid Endometrium with multiple small Uterine Fibroids. The cause is: Low Progesterone Hormone while Estrogen Hormone is high, resulting in: Hormonal Imbalance. It is suspected that due to my age of 46, my hormones are starting to deteriorate, and I might be entering the perimenopause phase as well," she wrote in an Instagram post.

Meisya Siregar also showed a moment after the surgery, lying in the hospital bed with an infusion tube and catheter. On the second day, her blood results were good, the catheter was removed, and she was able to walk.
