The will states that Naoya will become the new head of the Zen'in clan, but with the condition that if Satoru Gojo cannot serve, Megumi Fushiguro will replace him. This triggers Naoya's anger, who then plans to go to Tokyo to lure Megumi to him, with the intention of killing both Megumi and Yuji.

The Jujutsu sorcerers then learn that the Culling Game will not end until every player is killed, but they are allowed to create new rules. They plan to use these new rules to free the trapped players. Tengen reveals that they have the "Back Part" of the Prison Realm, and that one of the players, "Angel" Hana Kurusu, has a cursed technique capable of opening it.

The group then formulates a plan: Choso and Yuki will stay behind to protect Tengen, Maki will storm the Zen'in clan's vault to search for cursed tools, Yuta will investigate the Game colony, and Yuji and Megumi will recruit Kinji Hakari, a third-year student who has been suspended from Jujutsu High. Their main goal is to fight Kenjaku, free Satoru Gojo from the Prison Realm, and save Tsumiki Fushiguro who is also involved in the Culling Game.
