Kurusu Hana, a mysterious character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series, known as the "Angel", certainly makes fans even more curious. Here are some unique facts about her:

1. Dual Identity as "Angel" and Human

Kurusu Hana is a modern human who serves as a vessel for a thousand-year-old ancient sorcerer known as "Angel". Unlike other cases of incarnation where the ancient sorcerer completely takes over the host's body, Angel and Hana choose to coexist. Angel does not take over Hana's consciousness because it contradicts her belief, referred to as the "divine principle" (kami no kotowari).

2. Unique Ability: Curse Technique Nullification

The main ability of Hana, or more precisely the Angel residing within her, is "nullification of all curse techniques".

This technique is known as "Jacob's Ladder" (Jakob no Hashigo). This ability is extremely powerful and can neutralize any curse technique, including barriers and seals. When activated, a magical formation resembling a cross and hexagram appears in the sky, emitting a pillar of light that can obliterate curse techniques. This ability is considered the key to freeing Satoru Gojo from the Prison Realm (Gokumonkya).

3. Origin and Purpose of "Angel"

Angels are ancient sorcerers from the Middle East who lived a thousand years ago, during the Heian period. Their main goal is to eliminate all incarnations of other ancient sorcerers, especially the "Fallen Angel" (Daten), who is believed to be Ryomen Sukuna. The Angels join the Jujutsu High side to achieve this goal.

4. Tragic Past and Relationship with Fushiguro Megumi

As a child, Hana was kidnapped and raised by a cursed spirit for about a year in an abandoned building along with other children. In those horrific conditions, the children were forced to call the cursed spirit "mother" to survive. Hana was rescued from this situation by Fushiguro Megumi, who was on a mission with Gojo Satoru at the time. Since then, Hana has regarded Megumi as the "destined one" (unmei no hito) and the "light" that saved her from hell. She is motivated to help others so that she can become someone worthy of being by Megumi's side.

5. Distinct Physical Appearance

Kurusu Hana is depicted as a girl with a bob hairstyle that slightly curves inward. Her distinctive appearance includes a ring of light above her head and a pair of wings on her back, which likely are part of her curse technique. She is also often seen holding a trumpet, which further reinforces the "angel" image and may refer to the "Trumpet of Revelation".
