Mother Passed Away, 10 Photos of Ade Rai and Family Conducting Cremation - Scattering Ashes to the Sea

The process of cremation and scattering the ashes of Ade Rai's late mother, Selena Susanti, is filled with Balinese customs. The cremation was conducted at one of the crematoriums.

Ade Rai appeared to lend a hand in lifting the coffin of his mother to the cremation chamber along with several other men while wearing a mask in accordance with health protocols.

During her lifetime, the deceased was known as a mother, grandmother, aunt, and beloved wife by all members of her family, including Ade Rai himself.

On the day of Selena Susanti's departure, several members of Ade Rai's family came to bid farewell to the deceased for the last time through the cremation and scattering of ashes ceremony.

Scattering ashes is a process of floating the ashes in a river or sea, which symbolizes the cleansing of all impurities that remain in the departed soul.

Scattering is done as a form of respect and purification, where the sea is a place to merge or return to its original elements or the elements it should belong to (return to the universe).

The ashes and bones of the deceased were scattered into the sea on the same day at around 19:00 WIB. The scattering procession was carried out by boarding a ship in the Tanjung Priok area.

Like before, Ade Rai was also directly involved in the process of scattering the ashes of his late mother. This accomplished bodybuilder himself scattered the ashes and bones of the deceased into the sea.

Although the sorrow over the departure of Selena Susanti still lingers, the beautiful memories with the late person still live in the hearts of Ade Rai and his family.
