After more than a decade of activity, this band officially announces a hiatus and will temporarily stop all activities. The announcement was made on February 26 through their website and social media, right after the concert "STORYTELLER 10th ANNIVERSARY" at Toyosu PIT, Tokyo.

In their statement, the members said that this decision was the result of many long discussions and time for individual reflection. Essentially, they need to take a step back to recharge. The closing message reads: "Until the day we return." Unfortunately, there is no information on when they will be active again. So for now, fans can only wait for the next good news.

MY FIRST STORY was formed in 2011 with the lineup of Hiro (vocals), Teru (guitar), Nob (bass), and Kid�z (drums). Their debut album was released in 2012, and since then, their name has gradually risen to become one of the most stable rock bands in Japan.

The album ANTITHESE (2016) reached position 4 on Oricon, then V (2020) climbed to position 2, their highest record so far. They have also performed and headlined at major venues such as Nippon Budokan, Yokohama Arena, Saitama Super Arena, and Makuhari Messe. The song "I�m a mess" even surpassed 200 million streams. Their fanbase is clearly not small.

2. Crazy Collaborations & Iconic Moments

The year 2022 was an emotional moment when Hiro finally shared the stage with his brother, Taka from ONE OK ROCK. They performed together at the WANIMA 1CHANCE Festival and played "Fukagyaku Replace." A year later, these two bands even held a joint concert at Tokyo Dome as co-headliners. The level is clearly different now.

Recently, they also collaborated with HYDE on the song "Mugen," which became the opening for the anime DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA HASHIRA TRAINING ARC.
