Nathalie Holscher Opens Hijab, Ummi Pipik: She Cried and Said She Couldn't Handle It

The news was already known by Pipik Dian Irawati, or commonly known as Ummi Pipik, even before Nathalie Holscher uploaded a video on her Instagram. Recently, Nathalie Holscher, along with Ummi Pipik and Irish Bella, have been spending a lot of time together.

“That afternoon, she asked for my permission. Because she was supposed to come to this event. In the afternoon, she asked for permission because she couldn't come 'Afraid of disappointing Umi, Nathalie wants to take off her hijab.' So I asked why the problem. In the end, Irish and I tried to meet and talk,” said Ummi Pipik when met after giving a lecture in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, on Monday (10/7).

In the meeting, Nathalie Holscher cried in front of Umi Pipik and only said that she couldn't handle it anymore. Ummi Pipik could only hug her and will always accompany and guide Nathalie Holscher.

“Yes, she cried and said she couldn't handle it anymore. Well, only she knows the condition of her heart. But I can only hug her. I know how heavy her burden is. So the two of us can only pray and continue to accompany her in the process that she needs guidance,” she said.

As fellow Muslim siblings, Ummi Pipik's duty is only to accompany Nathalie Holscher regardless of her current condition because only Allah SWT can provide guidance.

“Especially for someone who is deepening their knowledge of Islam. She has many questions about what Islam is like. We, as Muslims, cannot refuse to teach her. But I cannot give guidance. I can only accompany her in any condition, as her sibling, until the Day of Judgment with my body, soul, and prayers,” said Ummi Pipik.

Regarding Nathalie Holscher's video post where she no longer wears hijab on her Instagram, Ummi Pipik has also seen it. Although sad, she still loves Nathalie Holscher very much.

"Done. I saw the event again on stage sent by Irish. 'Mom, be strong, don't cry.' Crying is inevitable due to love, but we can only accompany with prayers. I will never leave," she concluded.
