Negative Corona Rapid Test Results, Andrea Dian Must Undergo Several More Tests Before Being Allowed to Go Home

Kapanlagi.com - Good news comes from artist Andrea Dian who is currently being treated at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Jakarta due to being positive for covid-19. After undergoing quarantine for about two weeks, Ganindra Bimo's wife took a rapid test to see if there is still the corona virus in her body.

The result of the rapid test turned out to be happy. Andrea was declared negative for the corona virus. However, she is not completely relieved yet because she still has to undergo additional tests.

Because rapid test results are not always accurate, Andrea Dian still has to undergo several other tests. She revealed this through a short video posted on her Insta Story on her personal account, @andreadianbimo.

"I want to let you guys know the result of the rapid test this afternoon, thank God it's negative. But I still have to take a few more tests. If the results are good, maybe I will be allowed to go home. Please pray for me. Thank you," she said with a smile on her face.

2. Rapid Test Not as Accurate as Swab Test

The results of a rapid test are not as accurate as when someone undergoes a swab test from throat fluid. The results of this rapid test can be 'deceptive', so further testing is needed.

In order to be declared free from COVID-19, Andrea Dian still has to undergo several more tests. Only when she is truly free from the coronavirus, will she be allowed to go home.

3. Ganindra Bimo Happy

However, the news that Andrea's rapid test results showed negative still made her husband happy. Through his Instagram account, Ganindra Bimo announced that his wife tested negative for corona.

"Thank God! Horreeeeeee the test results are (-) !!! Please pray that the results of other tests will also be good!
So @andreadianbimo can come home soon !! #missyou," Ganindra wrote on his Instagram account.
