Neneng Wulandari's Experience Climbing a Mountain, Annoyed to See People Dating - Encounter with a Wild Boar

Comedian Neneng Wulandari shares her story about her love for mountain climbing. For a long time, Neneng has expressed her desire to get away from the hustle and bustle of gadgets and enjoy time with her friends in the great outdoors.

Climbing mountains has always been an ideal way for Neneng to feel close to nature and her friends. On this occasion, Neneng talked about one unforgettable experience while climbing Mount Papandayan in West Java.

According to her, the moment became very memorable when she had to face a wild boar that boldly snatched her drink.

"Once, Neneng's drink was consumed by a pig. The pig was like a cat, not afraid of humans," said Neneng while speaking in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Thursday, (12/9/2024).

Neneng also gave a warning to hikers who will visit Papandayan. She advised hikers to be more careful with their drinks because wild pigs are often seen taking the drinks brought by hikers.

"So if friends bring drinks to Papandayan, just be careful because pigs often drink them," explained Neneng.

Besides wild pigs, Neneng revealed that seeing couples dating while hiking often becomes an unpleasant experience for her. She admitted feeling annoyed because she wants to experience hiking with someone special.

"We are already tired, right? Even though the view on the mountain is beautiful, seeing couples there is annoying. I want to be cooked for, have a carrier (bag) brought for me, and be pampered on the mountain, but that hasn't happened until now," Neneng complained.

The hope is to experience a romantic moment amidst the beauty of nature. To ensure thorough preparation, Neneng usually does physical training regularly before starting a climb.

She suggests that climbers prepare physically at least two to three weeks before the climb, depending on the difficulty and height of the mountain to be climbed.

"I also often go climbing, because it helps with muscle memory," Neneng explained about her habit of training in climbing as preparation for mountain climbing.

"I want to fish in Rinjani sea. We just want to be happy climbing the mountain, it doesn’t have to be tiring, it doesn’t have to be at a certain height, no," she concluded.
