"Actually, there is data of names being changed by others. The real name is made fake and the fake name is made the real name and there is data for that," said Charly when met in Kebon Jeruk area, West Jakarta, on Tuesday night (23/2).

"My name is Muhammad Charly Van Houten, not Muhammad Casmaniparly. But on websites, they twisted 'Charly's name, which is originally Muhammad Casmaniparly," he continued.

The former vocalist of the band ST 12 has long known about the forgery committed by certain individuals against his real name. However, apparently all this time he chose to remain silent and not respond much to the matter.

However, over time, it had a negative impact on his extended family, including his parents who gave birth to him. So, finally, Charly firmly requested that the perpetrator who arrogantly changed his name immediately clarify the situation.

"This is dangerous, because why? I have a child whose feelings need to be protected, I have parents who gave me a name with prayers and hopes. And for me, this must be straightened out so that people don't misunderstand," he said.

Until now, Charly is still waiting for good intentions from the perpetrator to provide clarification. If they refuse, he is not hesitant to take firm action to teach a lesson to the owners of those accounts.

"I just want clarification, I don't want to argue. But if someone disagrees with my statement, let's have a duel, any kind of duel, a duel of understanding, a duel of thoughts, anything," he concluded.
