Kapanlagi.com - Gilang Dirga finally speaks up about netizens' comments regarding his decision to abort his wife's pregnancy. According to him, netizens don't really understand his family's situation and just comment recklessly.

"They don't understand the whole situation, they just see part of it and draw conclusions, which eventually makes me emotional because it's like netizens feel they are always right," said Gilang when met in Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/3/2020).

Gilang revealed that he made the decision after considering various factors. Although he always appears cheerful and happy in front of the camera, Gilang admitted that the decision was a very difficult time for him and his wife.

1. Calling Cowards

Gilang revealed that netizens who write hateful comments through social media are cowards. He believes that they do not have the courage to confront him directly. He also mentioned that they are only seeking attention in order to gain more followers on their social media accounts.

"Those who do that (comment on social media) are cowards who dare not speak directly, they only dare to comment like that on social media and sometimes there are also those who provoke comments so that I respond and their Instagram followers increase," he added.

2. Not Intending to Report

Nevertheless, Gilang admitted that he has no intention of reporting people who make hateful comments about this incident. For him, although it hurts his feelings, those netizens have not committed a criminal act that needs to be reported.

"Well, it's a matter of the heart. Because if someone's feelings are attacked, it doesn't need to be reported because they haven't committed a criminal act either," said Gilang.

3. Justru Berterima Kasih

Although feeling hurt by the comment, Gilang instead made a touching post. He did this because they acted and spoke as if they understood his life the most.

"Well, the point is there are people who feel like they know our lives better, as if we don't have feelings, even though we are all human beings," Gilang continued.
