Kapanlagi.com - Nikita Mirzani is back in the spotlight after posting a shocking statement through her personal Instagram account. In her post, Nikita revealed that her daughter, Laura Meizani, who was previously suspected of being a victim in a case of child sexual assault and illegal abortion, has now been designated as a suspect.
"It is even more shocking that my child is now being made a SUSPECT in this case, which to me is very unreasonable," wrote Nikita on her personal Instagram account. The statement has received various responses, both from the public and the police.
Responding to the accusation, the Acting Public Relations Officer of South Jakarta Police, Kompol Nurma Dewi, firmly denied it. She assured that the information conveyed by Nikita is not true.
"Yes, it's not true," said Kompol Nurma when met at the South Jakarta Police, Monday (1/13/2025).
Nurma emphasized that she has coordinated directly with the investigators handling the case. Based on the investigators' statements, there has been no change in status for Nikita's daughter, Laura Meizani, up to this point.
"If at the investigator's level, after we coordinate, we ask if there is any mention, for now there is none," she said.
Furthermore, Nurma urged all parties, including Nikita Mirzani, not to spread information that is not necessarily true. She hopes that the ongoing legal process can be respected for the sake of justice for all parties involved.
"If there is indeed a change in someone's status, let the investigators coordinate with me as the public relations officer. If there is anything, the investigators will convey it themselves," Nurma explained.
Nurma also emphasized that as the public relations officer of the South Jakarta Metro Police, she is tasked with providing official information regarding the developments of the case. She requested that no party take over this duty by spreading speculation.
"As the public relations officer of the South Jakarta Metro Police, I will certainly announce if there is indeed a change of status or change in the status of someone," she added.
This case began from a report made by Nikita Mirzani on September 12, 2024, at the South Jakarta Police. The report was registered with the number LP/B/2811/IX/2024/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKSEL/POLDA METRO JAYA.
In the report, Nikita accused a man named Vadel Badjideh of being involved in a case of sexual intercourse with a minor and illegal abortion. Nikita's daughter, Laura Meizani, was mentioned as the victim in this matter.
The case has already escalated to the investigation stage, and Laura has undergone examination twice. However, until now, Vadel Badjideh has not been designated as a suspect. The police are still continuing to investigate the case by collecting evidence and witness statements.
