Nikita Mirzani Remembers Her Close Relationship with Glenn Fredly in the Past

As it is known, Glenn passed away suddenly due to meningitis. Previously, the singer of Januari had never been seen seriously ill.

"Yes, I was really shocked, it was sudden. I knew he was sick, but I didn't know he had meningitis," Niki said at the South Jakarta Metro Police, on Monday (4/13).

After some investigation, it turns out that Niki and Glenn used to have a close relationship. Recently, the COMIC 8 movie star shared her memories with the late Glenn Fredly.

"We were very close. Back in 2013, Niki was close to him (Glenn) for about 8 months. At that time, Niki was not yet the Nikita Mirzani she is today, she hadn't caused much trouble, so he saw Niki in a good light. There was a period when they were not close, as he was dating someone else. Then Niki starred in a movie and he contacted her for a single film called Jakarta Undercover, and they became close again there," she reminisced.

Furthermore, Niki also took a moment to reminisce about Glenn's character during his lifetime. For the mother of three, the late Glenn was someone who was far from arrogant despite being super popular and idolized by many people.

"Glenn was a pleasant person to talk to, very smart, we could discuss anything and he would accept input from Niki. In 2013, Niki was still a junior, but he was very down to earth. We would eat together on the floor and he didn't mind, even though he was already famous in 2013. We would also walk together with fans, that's how close we were, he was just a good person overall.
