Kapanlagi.com - On Wednesday (8/4), Glenn Fredly passed away at the age of 44 due to sudden meningitis. The maestro's body was then buried on Thursday (9/4) at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta. The funeral itself was attended by many people, although there had been a government appeal for the public not to gather in large numbers.

But anyway, the funeral procession was also attended by Glenn's family, including his father, Hengky David Latuihamallo. Although saddened by the loss of his beloved child, Hengky appeared strong enough and had accepted the departure of the singer of Januari.

As we know, Glenn's departure was truly surprising to many, considering that he had never been seriously ill before. Hengky even emphasized that his son had no history of any illness at all.

"Glenn has no history of any illness, none at all. From the doctor to two times, three check-ups, he had no illness at all, just a headache," he continued.

Hengky still had the opportunity to meet with Glenn on Sunday (5/4). The father admitted that he had no premonition at that time, considering that they were still singing together, as usual.

"On Sunday, Glenn invited me to come to his house. He played my piano and asked me to sing. We sang the song The Lord Prayer 20 times. He entered the hospital on Monday, and on Thursday, he passed away. Only God knows His plan," Hengky concluded.
