Nikita Mirzani Reported to Demak Police Resort for Alleged Defamation

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Nikita Mirzani is once again involved in legal matters. The mother of three children has been reported to the Demak Police, Central Java, for alleged defamation against a man named Abdul Malik on June 11, 2021. This issue arose from Nikita Mirzani's Instagram Story post.

From there, the former wife of Dipo Latief also sent threatening messages through direct message (DM) on Instagram. Not only that, Nikita Mirzani also posted a provocative photo of Adam Malik without reason and evidence.

"So I was at home in Demak, I was surprised because a friend told me that there was a photo of me in NM's Instastory post, I opened my phone, and it was true. Suddenly, in the DM, there were dirty words. For example, sending flower arrangements is called a terrorist and a gangster network, even though it's not true," said Abdul Malik in Jati Asih, Bekasi, on Tuesday (10/8/2021).

Abdul Malik's legal representative, Alexander Kilikily Umboh, said that because of Nikita Mirzani's actions, his client became frightened. Besides Nikita Mirzani, there were also netizens who sent direct messages (DM) to his personal Instagram account.

"The problem is when there are DMs with threats and insults from NM, our client becomes very scared. Then our client turned off his phone, and after a few days, he turned it back on and received many DMs from unknown IG accounts, all of which contained threats and insults and disturbed our client's psyche," said Alexander Kilikily.

"What is clear is that her psyche is disturbed. Her mental state has deteriorated, she is just an ordinary citizen, not anyone important, but she is being attacked by an artist with many followers. Of course, her followers join in attacking her, causing fear. There is evidence of many provocative and threatening threats from her followers. If left unchecked, it will endanger the psychological condition of our client," Alexander Kilikily continued.

Actually, on Monday (9/8/2021), Nikita Mirzani was scheduled to be questioned by the Demak Police Resort in Central Java. However, the woman who is often called Nyai did not come to fulfill the summons. Alexander hopes that Nikita Mirzani can comply with all legal processes. He also stated that Nikita Mirzani's actions, which have not yet come, could set a bad example for her followers.

"Maybe like this, our country is a legal country. Law is the highest commander. As a good citizen, it would be wise for her to fulfill the police's summons. She should follow the law in Indonesia. There is no immunity to the law here. In the eyes of the law, we are all equal," said Alexander Kilikily.

"So if there is a report or summons, it should be respected, honored, and upheld. I am very disappointed, she is a public figure with many followers and they look up to her. If she behaves like this, she sets a bad example for her followers. This is very risky and dangerous," he concluded.
