Nikita Mirzani Gives Wise Response Regarding Herself Being Frequently Criticized and Called 'Prostitute' by Netizens

"Artists have been criticized by netizens for a long time. It's just that now anyone can do it through social media. So we can't stop one person, two people, three people. Because anyone can use social media, as long as they have data and a cellphone," said Nikita Mirzani at the Persari studio, South Jakarta, on Monday (2/8/2021).

Nikita Mirzani is one of the artists who is indifferent to netizens' criticism on social media. However, what many people don't know is that Nikita Mirzani admitted to feeling uncomfortable with the criticism.

"So at first I felt uncomfortable being bullied, but over time I considered all those netizens meaningless. So they were just doing it for fun because I can understand, especially during this PPKM where there are many unemployed people, people who are fired, people who are laid off, people who don't have money, it's difficult to eat, so they end up being stressed," she said.

1. Already Become a Risk

Nikita Mirzani issued a wise statement about the hate speech towards her. Over time, Nikita admitted that it has become a risk of the profession she pursues.

"He vented his fingers insulting an artist he never personally knew. For me, it's become normal, no need to think about it. Being a celebrity, being bullied is the risk," she continued.

2. Will Report to the Police When It Crosses the Line

The former wife of Sajad Ukra stated that she will not report netizens who have insulted her, even with the word 'prostitute'. However, if they insult her children, Nikita Mirzani will not stay silent. She will report the netizens to the authorities.

"If it's still within reason, like just teasing or whatever, but if it involves my children, then I will report it, I will make time to report it. But if it's just name-calling or whatever, it's normal," Nikita Mirzani concluded.
