Nindy's Confession about Domestic Violence, From Bruised Face to Hair Pulled

Kapanlagi.com - Nindy Ayunda finally revealed her experience with Domestic Violence. Nindy admitted that she has been subjected to such violent treatment since the beginning of her marriage to Askara Parasady Harsono. However, she never told anyone, not even her own family.

"Every time I experience violence, I always run away from home. So, I never involve anyone close. But I never told anyone because I believe that marital problems should not be shared with others," Nindy said during a press conference at the National Commission on Violence Against Women, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (16/2).

1. Show Evidence of Domestic Violence

After 9 years of marriage, Nindy finally couldn't bear it anymore. She showed evidence of her photos when she experienced domestic violence. Starting from her bruised face to her hair being pulled.

"Finally, the iceberg broke and domestic violence has been happening frequently, even though the frequency is only a few times a year, and I have the evidence," she said.

"So (show the domestic violence photos), this one is on December 18th. Around May, my hair (fell out), yes, it was pulled. I forgot there was one in January, during fasting month as well. There are many on my face," Nindy continued.

2. Aska Has a High Temperament

Nindy revealed that her husband does have a high temperament. After trying to save their marriage, Nindy finally decided to file for divorce from Askara on January 12, 2021.

"Indeed, Aska has difficult-to-control emotions, why it eventually led to fear and exhaustion. His emotions are unstable, so even small things to big things, even his mistakes can trigger him," she concluded.
