Nirina Zubir Reveals the Toughest Three Years of Her Life, Trying Not to Appear Fragile

Nirina Zubir once went through the toughest three years of her life. It all started in 2019 when her mother, Tjut Agustin Indrija Martini, passed away.

What made Nirina feel very lost was that her mother passed away while sleeping. The actress was not prepared to be separated from her loved one forever.

"Everyone experiences a change in their life. It started in 2019 when I lost my mother while she was sleeping. We talked the night before, and the next morning she was gone," said Nirina when met in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/10/2023).

"Like, wow, it means that if we die in illness, we are ready. Giving preparation must be sincere, strong. Being left unprepared, not having the chance to say I love you or goodbye, that's truly insane. Losing someone feels like this," she continued with tears streaming down her face.

Before the feeling of grief disappeared, Nirina Zubir faced problems related to her late mother's Domestic Assistant (ART). A woman named Riri Khasmita was involved in the criminal acts of forgery and money laundering in a land mafia case.

"In 2020, suddenly there was a case involving my mother. We faced it as a family. Even though we didn't have time to mourn or grieve because we had to be professional right away," said the wife of Syarif.

In the midst of the legal process, Nirina Zubir's father passed away forever. Nirina tried to appear strong because she didn't want to show her vulnerability.

"Once again, I haven't had time to mourn, in 2021 Buya passed away. It's really overwhelming, life is like this. People say Nirina seems to have no problems. I choose not to share my fragility because life must go on. But from 2019 to 2021, those were three quite difficult years. Life goes on, I have to face it with a smile," she said while trying to calm herself down.

Nirina's husband, Ernest Cokelat, played a significant role in her resilience in facing difficult situations in her life. Throughout their 14-year marriage, their household was harmonious and far from malicious gossip.
