No Longer Alone, Aditya Zoni is Grateful to Have a Wife This Fasting Month

Kapanlagi.com - Aditya Zoni feels very grateful because he is not alone in observing fasting this year. He now has his beloved wife, Yasmine Ow, who accompanies him during suhoor and iftar.

"Alhamdulillah, this is my first fasting with my wife. Last year, I was still busy with filming," said Aditya Zoni when met in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta, some time ago.

The younger brother of Ammar Zoni also feels the extraordinary pleasure of being able to observe fasting with his wife. He also hopes that his fasting will go smoothly and without any flaws.

"Now I can do my worship with my wife, it's an extraordinary pleasure. Hopefully, there will be no flaws in our fasting, everything is full," said Aditya Zoni.

Meanwhile, for their favorite food during suhoor and iftar, the two of them apparently have different tastes. If Aditya Zoni likes spicy food, Yasmine Ow admits that she loves tahu bulat (fried tofu balls).

"I'm not picky, I like spicy rendang," said Aditya Zoni.

"My favorite is tahu bulat," added Yasmine Ow.

2. Will Hold Wedding Reception After Eid

On that occasion, they also talked about preparations for the wedding reception which is planned to be held after Eid. As previously known, they had a secret wedding in December 2021.

"But, we do need preparations for May, God willing, after Eid. It's almost done, thank God. We're just waiting for the right moment," said Aditya Zoni.

3. Secret Wedding

Previously, Aditya Zoni admitted that he had secretly married Yasmine Ow in December 2021. The wedding was also witnessed by both families.

"The story is that in December 2021, we actually had a wedding, just an intimate one with only family present," said Aditya Zoni.

"There were big families from Yasmine's side and my side, everyone witnessed it. Our families also provided solutions for us to get married according to our religion," he continued.

4. Reasons for Secret Wedding

He explained that the reason for getting married according to their religion first was to avoid gossip. "Because we thought it was better to make it official first than to have people gossiping and then there are misunderstandings and so on," said Aditya Zoni.

Another reason was that their marriage documents were not yet complete. This was because Yasmine Ow is from Malaysia, so it took quite a long time to complete the paperwork.

"Why did we hide it? We were thinking about handling it for the reception in Indonesia. But because Yasmine's documents were incomplete and it takes time because she's a foreign national," explained Aditya Zoni.
