Not Because of Negative News, Father of Bibi Andriansyah Reveals Reason for Disagreeing with His Son Marrying Vanessa Angel

But behind all of that, Vanessa Angel herself has caused a sensation in public because of negative news about her. Even her marriage to Bibi also became a topic of conversation among the community.

Bibi's father, Faisal, apparently initially did not approve of the relationship between his late son and Vanessa Angel. However, it was not the negative news about his son-in-law that caused it, but rather something else.

According to Faisal, because Vanessa Angel's profession as an artist would require a lot of time and money to take care of herself. That is the reason why Faisal initially did not like Bibi's relationship with Vanessa.

"What I am concerned about is if we are with an artist, there will be concerns about expenses, salon treatments, and it will take time, not just money. She assured me like that a month or two before the wedding," said Faisal when met at his residence in Srengseng, West Jakarta not long ago.

1. Faisal Finally Gives His Blessing

Faisal once again remembers the time when the late Bibi convinced him, but Faisal still hasn't given his blessing. Because of that, Bibi briefly ran away from home and secretly married Vanessa.

"He said 'Dad, just trust me, I know better. Bibi is not stupid, Bibi doesn't want to trouble you, believe me, what I'm planning, still remember what she said. 'No need for me to argue with Dad, so just trust me'," said Faisal.

"In my opinion, that was the end of the argument, before that, there was a long argument. But my answer to my child was still not 'yes' at that time, I hadn't accepted it, so it's up to him. He ran away from home for three months. After that, I came home from the market, his mother was crying, his keys and car registration were left behind, his clothes were gone, his mother said Bibi left," he continued.

Long story short, upon hearing the news that his son had married the woman he loved, finally as a father, Faisal gave in. He then asked Bibi Andriansyah to come back home and start everything over in the right way in a wedding ceremony.

"After that, he came back home, crying, apologizing to me and his mother, 'Bibi, are you happy now?' The choice that dad hasn't necessarily pleased, this Aunt's choice. Finally, if that's the choice, then okay, just not like this, this is not dad's way," she concluded.
