Kapanlagi.com - After serving a 7-month sentence for drug-related charges, Ammar Zoni can finally breathe the air of freedom. He officially got out of prison on October 4th. However, Ammar Zoni indeed wanted to keep his freedom time a secret from anyone, even his family didn't know. As a result, at that time, Ammar Zoni was only picked up by his lawyer, Abdullah Emile Oemar.

"Regarding the date of release, it's because Ammar requested not to inform the media, not to inform the public, so we kept it a secret. Even at that time, I deliberately didn't inform the exact date, I just gave an estimate," said Abdullah Emile Oemar during a press conference in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Monday (10/9).

"So coincidentally, I didn't tell anyone. Only those who knew were the ones who picked him up, only I knew. Because no one else knew. It was a surprise for the family at that time," he continued.

1. Still Can't Believe

Ammar Zoni himself still can't believe it when he was told by the Kalapas Cipinang to go home on that day.

"At that time, I asked Emile not to tell anyone yet because I myself still didn't believe it. Honestly, I really didn't believe it when Kalapas suddenly called me and said 'you have to go home', I was really speechless," said Ammar Zoni.

2. Raksi Irish Bella

After being released from prison, Ammar Zoni immediately visited his father who was lying sick. Then he met his wife, Irish Bella, and their two children. The family's reaction was the same as Ammar Zoni's, still not believing that he is now free.

"Just like me, when I heard that I had to go home. So I also couldn't believe it. The first person I met was my parents because my father is currently weak. Alhamdulillah, my father's platelet count immediately went up. My father's health improved dramatically. Then I met my wife and she also had the same expression, no one knew that I had been released," he said.

3. Just Realized I'm Finally Free

Ammar Zoni admitted that it took him a few days to realize that he is now free. Ammar Zoni's family is extremely happy and emotional because they can finally be together again.

"Just yesterday, I realized that I am indeed outside. For two days, I still felt like I was in Cipinang, even in my dreams. If asked about the reaction (of the family), it is a mixture of happiness, disbelief, and also emotion," concluded Ammar Zoni.
