Not Joining the SMASH Reunion, This is What Rangga Moela Said

Kapanlagi.com - Some time ago, the boyband SMASH performed in a virtual concert to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Singing the song I Heart You, SMASH's performance felt even more special because former member Morgan Oey was present.

However, something was missing in that SMASH video because the figure of Rangga Moela was not there. When asked about his absence from the SMASH reunion, Rangga Moela finally spoke up. He admitted that he couldn't participate because he had a job that couldn't be left behind.

"Actually, many netizens might wonder why I wasn't there yesterday. Actually, everything should have been there. I was also asked to participate. But that was a live streaming program with one of the parties. At that time, I was shooting for my new program, which was shot from morning until night, and the contract was from last year," said Rangga Moela when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (27/4).

"So I couldn't participate because the live streaming was impromptu and also because of the long-standing contract. So I couldn't cancel it. So why didn't I participate? Because I was shooting at that time, not because of anything," he continued.

1. Happy to See Morgan Oey Reunite with SMASH

Although unable to join, Rangga Moela is happy to see Morgan Oey reunite with SMASH. He was also quite surprised because Morgan Oey had not been in communication with SMASH for a long time.

“I was surprised because all this time he (Morgan) didn't want to be connected with SMASH anymore. And suddenly after a decade, he participated in making the video I Heart You. So, it's quite surprising. It's good that they finally reestablished good relations,” said Rangga Moela.

2. Relationship with SMASH Remains Good

Rangga Moela also affirmed that his relationship with the members of SMASH is still good up to now.

“There are no problems at all. We still keep in touch with Ilham. Like wanting to video call for his YouTube content. So, there are no problems at all with the SMASH boys. We still have a group,” he concluded.
