Andre Taulany's determination to separate from his wife, Erin Taulany, seems to be final. Andre's lawyer, Galih Rakasiwi, revealed that his client is not only serious about filing for divorce in court but has also repeatedly pronounced talak to Erin.

This was disclosed after a mediation session that had to be postponed at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (10/8/2025). According to the legal team, this fourth divorce application is proof of Andre's seriousness in legally ending his marriage.

In terms of religion, the separation is said to have occurred. Galih Rakasiwi emphasized that this legal step is the culmination of a long-standing issue.

"As for the strategy, we already have it, we have included everything in our application, yes. If earlier it was mentioned several times, this is indeed the seriousness, the seriousness of Mr. Haji in filing for divorce, yes," said Galih.

He also added that Andre has taken concrete steps to show his intention to separate, long before registering the application with the court.

"He is serious, even having pronounced talak several times, including having made a statement that has already been sent. This means that Mr. Haji is serious, that's the essence of it, to get a divorce," he asserted.

A similar sentiment was expressed by Usman Lawala, another member of Andre's legal team. Usman confirmed that Andre not only pronounced the talak verbally but also sent it in the form of a written letter."Andre has conveyed (the talak) multiple times in front of his wife and even sent a printed letter to her home," Usman revealed.

Although the talak has been pronounced, legal proceedings in court must still be pursued to obtain legality. According to Usman, the panel of judges has also emphasized the importance of a court decision.

"The judge said you can convey it anywhere, whether on land, at sea, or in the air, but the essence is that the law in Indonesia must be in court. Therefore, it is the court that has the authority to decide on this matter later on," he concluded.
