Now More Cautious in Actions, Pierre Gruno Tells the Ups and Downs During Detention

Kapanlagi.com - On the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, actor Pierre Gruno was officially released after the plaintiff agreed to pursue restorative justice. As is known, for approximately one month, Pierre was detained at the South Jakarta Police for alleged assault.

The 65-year-old actor recounted the ups and downs during his time in detention. Pierre Gruno admitted that his experience was contrary to the stigma attached to prison life.

"There were many good friends. It turns out that, although people consider them as social outcasts, they are actually good and polite. I had back pain from sleeping on the hard bed, considering my old age. They gave me a special treatment for my back pain, and it worsened there," said Pierre Gruno in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Friday (1/9/2023).

1. Not Many Know About Life in Prison

Pierre added that many people do not know about the life inside prison.

"We only know that many people do not always understand what is inside there. So my term is, you are rich, you are big, you are small, but everyone is still a prisoner there," said Pierre.

2. Being More Cautious

Because of the case he experienced and being in prison, Pierre is now more cautious in his behavior. He admitted that he has to think twice before taking action.

"Yes, of course, I am more cautious. I have to switch my mindset. In the past, if we had a fight, we would become friends afterwards. But now, we report each other for every little thing," he concluded.
