Nunung Admits Cancer Disease Healed, But Still Struggling with Chronic Acid Reflux

Now she is faced with another illness. Comedian Nunung revealed that she is still undergoing a series of treatments for several health issues. She mentioned that chronic acid reflux is one of the conditions that needs to be checked regularly.

"Still, still, I am still undergoing treatment," said Nunung in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (26/2/2025).

2. Struggling Against Acid Reflux

Nunung's health is indeed better now, but she has to struggle against chronic acid reflux and diabetes, which are part of her daily life.

"Yes, a lot, I have chronic acid reflux, there’s diabetes, I see a psychiatrist because there’s still fear, there’s a lot. Cancer is done but I'm still in control," she said.

3. Consultation with a Psychiatrist

In addition, Nunung also consulted with a psychiatrist because she still had fears of the cancer disease she once suffered from. However, she assures that the cancer has been declared cured.
Nunung began her journey against cancer with extraordinary courage. After the diagnosis, she not only focused on treatment but also maintained a positive spirit.

Although she has several health conditions that need to be monitored, Nunung affirms that she is in good condition. She is also grateful to be able to continue her activities normally.

"God willing, thank God. I’m actually feeling fresh, there’s nothing wrong with me," she said.

4. The Commotion About Her Renting a Room in Jakarta

Nunung also admitted that consulting with a psychiatrist helped her cope with the fears that still haunt her after her battle with cancer. However, at the same time, Nunung also responded to the news about her currently renting a room while in Jakarta. According to her, that decision should not be a big deal.

"This is just a renting issue, why is it such a big fuss?" she said.

5. Financial Issues to Selling a House

Recently, the news about Nunung selling her assets and living in a boarding house has garnered attention. She explained that the decision was made a few years ago to meet her living expenses and medical costs. Previously, Nunung sold her house in Jakarta in 2019, shortly after getting involved in a drug case. The decision was made because during her rehabilitation, she had no income.

"I sold that asset actually back in 2019 when I got into trouble. I was in rehab for 9 months, had no income, and life just goes on," she concluded.

With everything she has gone through, many people continue to support Nunung in all her struggles today.
