Of the 12 Suspects in the Robbery at Uya Kuya's House, One Perpetrator is Still Underage

Kapanlagi.com - The robbery case that affected the residence of presenter and member of parliament, Uya Kuya, has entered a new chapter. The police continue to act swiftly and have managed to secure several individuals suspected of being involved in the anarchic act.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Dicky, confirmed significant developments in this case. He confirmed that several perpetrators have been successfully arrested by his team.

So far, the police have named dozens of individuals as suspects. In total, there are now 12 people who must be held accountable for their actions.

"Yes. Twelve (suspects)," he said briefly when confirmed at East Jakarta Metro Police on Monday (8/09/2025).

1. One Suspect is Underage

From the dozens of suspects, a rather concerning fact has emerged. It turns out that not all the perpetrators are adults. Among the group, there is one person who is still classified as underage.

"All adults, except for one 17-year-old perpetrator," he explained.

Furthermore, AKBP Dicky also confirmed that the underage perpetrator is still a student.

"Just one," he said when asked if there were any perpetrators who were still students.

2. Target of Mob Violence

As is known, Uya Kuya's residence became one of the targets of mob violence during the wave of protests that occurred some time ago. This incident adds to the long list of losses experienced by public figures who also serve as representatives of the people.

Now, the police are still continuing to investigate this case to uncover the possibility of other perpetrators involved.
