The wedding ceremony was carried out with a dominant Javanese traditional theme, but there was also a Betawi tradition from the groom, Andri Irawan. Before sitting at the marriage solemnization table, Andri Irawan had to pass through two warriors' barriers from Roro Fitria's side, after which Andri Irawan was allowed to sit.

The event continued with the recitation of holy verses from the Quran as an introduction to the marriage solemnization. Roro Fitria will be married by her sibling, Sigit Nurcahyo.

The wedding ceremony took place at the Grand Kemang Hotel, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/12/2021). Andri Irawan married Roro Fitria with a dowry of Rp. 290,122,021.

"Brother Andri Irawan bin H. Samsuri, I marry and wed you to my younger sister, Roro Fitria, with a dowry of Rp 290,122,021 paid in cash," said Sigit Nurcahyo.

"I accept the marriage and the dowry of Roro Fitria binti Subroto, which is paid in cash," Andri Irawan replied with a deep breath.

2. Religious Study

Before getting married, they also held a religious study session prior to the wedding day in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta, on Friday afternoon (24/12). When met after the event, Roro and Andre shared their story of how they met.

"We knew each other in a short period of time. Fate, death, and fortune cannot be avoided. Less than a year of knowing each other, we had a taaruf (Islamic introduction) process. We never met before, only saw each other's photos, and then we met in a gathering of scholars with an ustaz as well," said Andre Irawan.

Andre also said that the process leading up to his wedding day with Roro Fitria went smoothly. According to him, because they intended to get married for worship, they were both given ease by the Creator.

"Our intention to get married from the beginning was for worship, and the manifestation of our love for each other is also because of Allah, which is why we have reached this point and have been given ease," said Andre.

In addition, on the same occasion, Roro responded to some comments about her and her future husband having similar faces. According to her, in Javanese belief, this is a sign of a soulmate, but again, it is because they intended to get married for worship.

"Indeed, according to Javanese people, if the faces are similar, it is a sign of a soulmate, but only Allah knows, because we believe that marriage is a worship to reach heaven," Roro Fitria concluded.

5. Widower

Roro is also not hesitant to reveal the figure of her prospective husband. According to Roro's account, Andre is a widower businessman who is 10 years older than her.

"He is 10 years older than me. He is a widower," said Roro Fitria.
