Officially Detained, Police Allow Nikita Mirzani to Take Care of Baby in Detention Center temporarily

Kapanlagi.com - The act of violence against her ex-husband named Dipo Latief has entangled Nikita Mirzani in a legal case. Since Friday morning (31/1/2020), she has been detained at the South Jakarta Metro Police Detention Center.

Considering that Nikita has a nine-month-old baby who needs breastfeeding, the police have allowed the sensational artist to bring her child along. Both of them are placed in a special room.

"Nikita is temporarily staying at the police station because she is a detainee. Because she has a child, we facilitate her. Because taking care of a small child is also the responsibility of the parents," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Irwan Susanto, when met by the media.

"(Nikita and her child) are not placed in the detention center. Fortunately, we have a special place in the Tahanan dan Barang Bukti (Detainee and Evidence) section for breastfeeding a small child," he added.

1. Apologizing to Nikita

Based on the release circulating among the media, it is mentioned that Nikita Mirzani was angry with the officers because she wanted to bring her child into the detention room. This fact was confirmed by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of South Jakarta Metropolitan Police, AKBP Irwan Susanto. Therefore, they apologize for the miscommunication.

"Perhaps there was a miscommunication. We might have used inappropriate words, so we apologize," he said.

Furthermore, Nikita Mirzani revealed that she cannot always be with her child. Because there are many ways to prepare breast milk for the baby from Nikita's marriage with Dipo Latief.

"Yes, the child can go home, maybe for some time (with Nikita). Because there are other ways to do it without direct breastfeeding," said Irwan Susanto. (abs)
