Betrand Peto not only forbids Sarwendah from remarrying but also actively monitors her daily activities. This behavior is seen as a form of quite possessive concern.
"No, no (marrying again), no," said Betrand Peto while attending the FYP Ketok Pintu event, as reported by the TRANS7 OFFICIAL YouTube channel, on Tuesday (22/10/2024).
This statement emerged amid public attention towards their family's dynamics after the separation. Not only Onyo, but Thalia and Thania's attitudes are the same.
"If being possessive, then everyone is, not just Onyo (the nickname for Betrand Peto) who is possessive. Thalia, if I haven't come home, will video call continuously until I'm in front of the house," explained Sarwendah.
Betrand even likes to monitor his mother when she is live selling. Onyo will make sure whether Sarwendah is with a man or not.
Betrand's attitude was also discussed by Ruben Onsu. He believes that Betrand is very protective of his mother, which may be triggered by significant changes in their lives.
