Officially Married, Nikita Willy Apparently Did Not Meet Indra Priawan for a Week Before the Wedding Ceremony

Kapanlagi.com - Nikita Willy and Indra Priawan are now officially husband and wife after holding a wedding ceremony at Nikita Willy's residence in the Jatiwaringin area, East Jakarta, on Friday (16/10).

However, before officially getting married today, they also held various events starting from religious study and pre-wedding night. The newlyweds shared their stories with the media during a virtual press conference through the bridestory YouTube channel.

"The religious study was held on Monday, we shared a lot with the family, all kinds of feelings, so it was a bit sad because the youngest child, the youngest one who will be let go by the parents," said Indra Priawan.

1. Study Until Late at Night Bainai

Not only holding a study session, Nikita Willy also held a bainai night at her house. Bainai Night is the last night for Minangkabau women who are about to get married to experience freedom as single women.

"On October 14th in the morning, I held a study session at home, asking for permission from my parents to marry Indra and attended by many guests from my mother's relatives and Indra's family," said Nikita Willy.

"In the evening, we held a bainai night or if people who don't know can be called bachelorette but it is a Minang tradition where the family will release their daughter to marry a man. Attended by Indra's family, my family, and close friends," she continued.

2. Not Meeting for a Week

Apparently, before the wedding ceremony held today, Nikita Willy and Indra Priawan had not met for more than a week.

"For your information, Indra and I haven't met for about a week. So we just met during the wedding ceremony," Nikita Willy concluded.
