Onadio Leonardo Regrets Using Drugs, Calls It the 'Biggest Foolishness' of His Life

Three months of inpatient rehabilitation was a harsh wake-up call for Onadio Leonardo. The musician, commonly known as Onad, admitted to deeply regretting his actions of consuming drugs and referred to it as the dumbest mistake he has ever made.

After being released from the rehab center in Lebak Bulus, Onad candidly expressed his remorse. He feels that his reckless actions came at a high price, not in terms of money, but in lost time and the trust of those closest to him.

"There are many lessons, many of my foolishness that I have to pay for with many things," said Onad with a tone full of regret, Wednesday (28/01/2026).

Onad does not deny that he experienced material losses due to this case, including the termination of endorsement contracts. However, for him, the loss of money is not comparable to the life lessons he gained while being isolated from the outside world.

"What does money mean, guys? Losing money can be earned back, but the lessons I learned in rehab are, in my opinion, very valuable. So for me, rehab is a very expensive lesson that I can't get outside," he wisely stated.

During rehabilitation, Onad saw many other cases that were much more severe than his. This made him aware and grateful to still be given the opportunity to improve himself. He is determined not to waste his life on foolish things anymore.

"I feel like if I think about it, what was I doing? I mean, why did I make that foolish mistake? So in rehab, I learned that whatever you do, there are consequences, and I accept that," explained the father of two.

Onad also apologized to the public, especially to fans who might have looked up to him. He realizes that his actions are not a good example and hopes no one will follow his dark path.

"I'm really sorry for disappointing you all. Who knows, if anyone took me as an example, I'm really sorry I'm not a good example like that," Onad expressed sincerely.

Now, Onad feels much fresher and healthier. He is ready to return to work with a new version of himself, one that is more positive and wise in moving forward.
