Beautiful actress Sitha Marino speaks candidly about her views on the institution of marriage. The younger sister of Putri Marino admitted that she never had any desire to build a household before.
Sitha prefers to focus on her own happiness and that of her extended family without being tied to the status of marriage. Initially, Sitha just wanted to enjoy her youth by working hard and being a prosperous aunt to her nieces and nephews.
However, everything changed since she started a romantic relationship with Bastian Steel. The presence of this man provided Sitha with a new perspective on the beauty of long-term companionship.
"Like I said earlier, I've never felt that marriage is scary. It's just that before I was with Bastian, I really didn't think about marriageat all. So what I was thinking was just, I want to be an aunt to my nieces and nephews. Just wanna be a rich aunty, you know," said Sitha Marino when met in the Senayan area on Tuesday (28/04/2026).
After being in a fairly long relationship, Sitha began to feel that marriage is not something to be feared. The comfort provided by Bastian gradually melted Sitha's heart until she felt ready if someday their relationship moved to a more serious level.
"Then suddenly I met Bastian, and I finally felt like... hmm... I think marriage is not that bad. Okay then. Gradually, I started to feel like, I think marriage is... is fine, it's okay, there's no problem with it," she said.
This change in mindset happened naturally along with her personal growth. Sitha, who used to be skeptical, now feels enthusiastic when discussing the future with her partner
"So now I'm thinking like, yeah why not, it's fine, I actually really want it," Sitha expressed.
However, Sitha still hasn't revealed her future plans. Will she marry Bastian in the near future?
