Ongoing Cassation, Teddy Pardiyana Still Wants Mediation with Rizky Febian

Teddy Pardiyana is still open to the possibility of family resolution in the inheritance dispute with Rizky Febian. This stance was expressed when the case between the two is currently at the cassation stage in the Supreme Court.

"Yes, back again if Kang Teddy's hope is that this matter could be better resolved amicably, that's all," said Wati Trisnawati.

The hope to sit together was expressed by his legal counsel as an alternative outside of litigation. Although the legal process continues, Teddy's side emphasizes the desire for the issue to be resolved through family deliberation.

1. Keep the Door Open for Family Mediation

According to the legal representative, the opportunity for family mediation is still being considered amidst the ongoing cassation process. This option is seen as a better way to resolve the dispute if there is indeed willingness from both parties.

On the other hand, Teddy Pardiyana did not submit a formal mediation request because the case is already at the high court level. The ongoing legal steps are still being followed while waiting for the possibility of communication from the opposing party.

Teddy's focus, as conveyed by his legal representative, is to resolve the issues without prolonging the conflict. However, any decisions regarding the resolution mechanism will still be adjusted according to the developments in the court process.

2. Mediation at the Religious Court Ends in Deadlock

Previously, both parties had undergone mediation facilitated by the Religious Court. This effort did not reach an agreement due to differing views regarding the subject of the disputed assets.

"At that time, there was mediation by the Religious Court, and it was a deadlock. Because, again, they thought that what we submitted was an inheritance right or related to the inheritance object," explained Wati Trisnawati.

The Rizky Febian side is said to still believe that Teddy is targeting a specific inheritance object of significant value. According to his legal representative, what Teddy desires is the formal recognition of his status as a legitimate heir by the state, not a claim to a specific object.

3. No Invitation to Sit Together from Rizky's Side Yet

Until now, there has been no communication signal from Rizky Febian's side to resume mediation. Teddy stated that he is waiting for any good faith to discuss a family settlement.

"If they want to invite us to mediate, we will accept it. But until now, there has never been an invitation for mediation either," said Wati.

In the absence of such an invitation, Teddy's side emphasized that they remain open to meeting and discussing a peaceful solution. This step is positioned as a parallel effort with the ongoing legal process.

4. Legal Process Continues, Message About Deliberation

Although wishing for peace, Teddy's side continues to follow the case at the cassation level. No official mediation request letter has been submitted, considering the process is already in the realm of the high court.

"What is certain is that if the message is, yes, it is still the term if there is indeed an effort for mediation, we will settle it through deliberation," he concluded.

In line with that, Teddy's camp emphasized their readiness to welcome any mediation initiative from the opposing side. While waiting for developments, all procedural stages in court continue to be carried out.
