Then it was registered in the South Jakarta Religious Court registry the next day," said Hj. Taslimah when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Friday (19/5).
"The hearing is scheduled for May 29, 2023, the first hearing," she added.
She also confirmed that the petition was filed online. When asked further, Hj. Taslimah explained the points contained in the lawsuit.
"The lawyer representing the petitioner registered it through e-court. The lawsuit consists of the identities of the parties involved, the petitioner, and the type of case is divorce by talak. If the husband initiates the divorce, it is called talak, while if the wife initiates it, it is called gugat," she said.
