Pablo Benua Allegedly Escaped from Prison & Found in the Mall, Fairuz A. Rafiq's Lawyer Seeks the Truth

"We intend to examine the statement or response to the sensational news about Pablo being outside of custody. And so that there are no more disturbing questions to Fairuz himself. Hopefully, with this, no one will ask Fairuz about this matter," he said at Minola Sebayang's lawyer's office on Friday (13/3).

1. Special Procedure

He said that actually there is a special procedure to obtain permission to leave the prison.

"If we talk about the procedure of Government Regulation No. 58 of 1999, it is indeed regulated in articles 45 and 46 regarding extraordinary matters for permission to leave the prison. So if there is a procedure for permission to leave," he added.

2. Send a Letter

Minola, as the legal representative, stated that he will send a letter to the prosecutor's office and the panel of judges. It is known that at that time, Pablo claimed to visit his seriously ill parents.

"Our plan is to send a letter to the prosecutor's office, the panel of judges, and the prison. But again, the administrative bureaucracy they have done has been fulfilled," he said.
