Pablo Benua and Rey Utami Caught Hanging Out at a Cafe Despite Being Detainees, Sonny Septian Speaks Out

Upon hearing the news, Fairuz A Rafiq was certainly shocked. As is known, the wife of Sonny Septian is a victim in the ikan asin video case and is also the person who sent Pablo - Rey to jail.

After investigation, it turns out that Pablo and Rey did receive temporary permission to leave custody to visit their critically ill parents. The question is, did Pablo and Rey really use this permission in accordance with the applicable procedures or not.

The news of Pablo and Rey being released from detention also surprised Sonny Septian, Fairuz's wife. Instead of making baseless accusations, Sonny just wanted to know the actual procedure if a detainee is granted permission to leave the prison.

"Let's think positively. If we're surprised, then we're surprised. If there is indeed a procedure, then there must be one. But the real question is, if they were indeed given permission to visit their parents, why were they outside, at the mall? That's what I asked, whether they spent more time visiting or at the mall. What is the procedure? From the detainee to the destination and then back? That's why I asked Bang Minola, who might have a better understanding of this," Sonny continued at the location.

2. Afraid of Being Made an Example by Other Prisoners

The Fairuz side has actually forgiven Pablo and Rey. However, there are still some legal procedures that need to be clarified in responding to this case to avoid similar incidents from happening again.

"We are not talking about gains and losses. Anyway, we have sincerely handed over the case to the court. But if there is something like this, it means there should be firm action. We are afraid it will become a bad example. It might just become an excuse for other prisoners (to be released from custody). Afraid of being abused," Minola concluded.
