8 Months Without Legal Certainty, Rey Utami: Behind the Test There is Pleasure

"Many people say it takes so long, it's not resolved. My parents also said, 'how can it drag on like this?' I just ask for prayers so that we can sincerely go through all of this," said Rey Utami at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (4/3).

Rey Utami, who is now more religious, sees this as part of the test that she must face. She believes that there is wisdom behind the test she is experiencing.

"We have been given a test for 8 months without any resolution. But we enjoy it because there is pleasure behind the test. The wisdom that we may feel when we get out. The wisdom will only be realized later, 'oh, it turns out Allah gave us this test, it turns out Allah loves us," said Rey.

1. Want to Meet Fairuz

Even Rey plans to meet and express gratitude to Fairuz A Rafiq. According to him, Fairuz is a person who has made a big change in him to become a better person.

"If there is still time and opportunity, after this case is over, I want to have a meeting with the reporter, I want to express my gratitude because no matter what, I am very grateful for this misfortune," said Rey Utami.

As is known, Rey Utami along with Pablo Benua and Galih Ginanjar were reported by Fairuz A Rafiq to the police last year. Fairuz was not happy when Galih Ginanjar mentioned that her private parts smelled like salted fish in a vlog owned by Rey Utami and Pablo Benua.

The case, which was widely known by the mass media as the "Salted Fish" case, is being handled by the South Jakarta District Court. Until now, the trial is in the stage of hearing witness testimony.
