Witnessing Continued Trial of 'Salted Fish', Barbie Kumalasari Defends Galih Ginanjar
Barbie Kumalasari defends Galih Ginanjar when becoming a witness in the case of the salted fish video that implicated her husband.
Kapanlagi.com - Pablo Benua, Rey Utami, and Galih Ginanjar have been in custody since July 2019 related to the Salted Fish Video Case. However, apparently the trial process is still ongoing, where Pablo's side continues to try to prove their innocence.
The latest trial was held today, Monday (17/2), by bringing in an IT expert witness from the Public Prosecutor's Office. Pablo's side feels satisfied with the results of today's trial.
"The examination of expert witnesses is very clear, and it makes the salted fish case even clearer, where one thing that is very clear is that the owner of the YouTube channel is not necessarily the one who uploaded it, anyone can upload as long as they have access," said Rihat, Pablo and Rey's legal counsel after the trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday (17/2).
Pablo then spoke out about his lawyer's explanation. The man who claimed to have supernatural powers emphasized that he was not the person responsible for uploading the 'salted fish' video, but rather his employed admin.
"Many YouTubers use admins, and we made it clear, I have provided the evidence and even in the evidence, the admin's name is clearly there. Until now, maybe you didn't realize it could be checked," Pablo continued.
According to Pablo, the admin uploaded the video without his permission, which eventually became a problem. "Nowadays, expert testimony confirms that a YouTube account can be accessed by an admin, whether it has permission or not. Our task is to prepare evidence that the video was uploaded without permission and without our knowledge, that is very clear. So why were we confident when it was first reported? Because we feel we are not guilty, because we never uploaded it, and we never allowed anyone to upload the video," he explained.

In the previous hearing, Pablo accused the video editor named Derry of uploading the video without permission. However, it is still unknown whether the admin referred to by Pablo in this latest hearing is also the same person as Derry before.
"We have only one admin, and that person knows a lot, they will be presented as a mitigating witness," Pablo concluded.
The next hearing will be held on Wednesday (19/2) with the agenda of presenting experts.
Okay, for this Wednesday, the jpu has stated that language and criminal experts will be presented, and we hope that the facts will become clearer and more apparent.
