Raffi Ahmad confirmed that he will be partnering again with his friend, Desta, in the sportainment event "Padel Wars". The pair, who have often appeared together in various sports events, claim to have a strong chemistry.
However, Raffi does not hesitate to make his usual jokes when asked about the preparations with Desta. According to him, Desta has a great theory but often falters mentally during the actual matches.

"Desta, when it comes to padel, is already called a coach. He usually has good theories, but during the match, he turns pale," joked Raffi Ahmad at a press conference in Senopati, South Jakarta, on Monday (10/11/1025).
Although often throwing jabs, Raffi admits that the experience of competing with Desta in previous major events has made them more relaxed and less awkward. They have also planned a regular training schedule to refine their strategy.
"Desta and I often partner up, so we’re comfortable with each other. This week we will start our regular training. Desta and I have already played more than once in major events, so we’re pretty relaxed," he explained.
Interestingly, Nagita Slavina, his wife, also has her own way of motivating Raffi. Instead of praising him, Nagita often compares Raffi's game to other artists to encourage him to train harder.
"No, he actually underestimates me. Atta plays well, Thoriq plays well, I don't," said Raffi mimicking his wife's words.
Nagita then immediately interjected, "No, that's to motivate you. He's new, so he needs to be excited to practice."
