Paula Verhoeven finally speaks out regarding her divorce ruling with Baim Wong, which mentions allegations of infidelity. This model and actress firmly denied the accusations when she visited the Judicial Commission in Central Jakarta on Thursday (17/4/2025). Read the full story below!
"I am here and visiting the judicial commission to report the alleged violations of the code of ethics and behavioral guidelines of the judges conducted by the panel of judges at the South Jakarta religious court that examined and adjudicated my divorce case," said Paula.
She believes the panel of judges was mistaken in considering the evidence and did not adhere to the facts presented in court. "I am quite sad because, in my opinion, this defamation has gone too far," Paula said while holding back tears.
Paula feels that the accusations greatly affect the mental well-being of her young children who do not yet understand the situation. "And here I have 2 boys whose mental well-being I always protect. They will grow up seeing this massive news coverage," she continued.
She also emphasized that during her marriage, there has never been infidelity and there is no evidence to support such claims in court.
"I firmly state that there has been no infidelity during my marriage," Paula emphasized.
Paula stated that she only wants balanced justice based on valid evidence. "Even if I appeal, it's not because I don't want to, but I want justice from the decision accompanied by the existing evidence," she explained.
On that occasion, she reiterated that the legal steps taken are solely for the sake of her children. "I do this to protect the mentality of my young children," Paula Verhoeven asserted.
