Perpetrator of Coldplay Concert Ticket Fraud Reported by Susan Sameh Has Been Arrested

The police acted quickly by arresting the perpetrator with the initials RA, who has caused Susan Sameh to suffer losses of hundreds of millions of rupiah.

1. Scammer's Modus Operandi

After conducting a thorough investigation, it was revealed that RA's modus operandi in carrying out his actions. According to the South Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit Chief, AKBP Bintoro, the perpetrator buys genuine tickets and then duplicates them.

"Regarding the case of fraud and/or embezzlement in the form of Coldplay tickets. The perpetrator, with the initials RA, has a modus operandi where he buys official Coldplay tickets. Then he forges and duplicates these tickets to make them appear genuine," added AKBP Bintoro.

2. Losses of Hundreds of Millions

Not only Susan Sameh became a victim of RA's actions. The police stated that there were 24 victims, including Susan Sameh, who were interested in buying Coldplay concert tickets, resulting in a total loss of approximately Rp 312 million.

"Furthermore, through word of mouth, he directly sold these tickets to the victims. The victims were interested and bought 24 tickets worth around 312 million rupiah," said Bintoro.

3. Prison Sentence Threat

For the actions committed, RA is charged with fraud and embezzlement, with a maximum penalty of 6 years imprisonment.

"Furthermore, the person in question was arrested and charged with fraud and embezzlement under articles 378 and 372 of the Criminal Code, with a maximum penalty of 6 years imprisonment," he said.
